    @teuchterloon9130منذ 7 سنوات Haha! Your reaction made me laugh so much :-) This is one of my all-time favourite BABYMETAL songs. It's so simple, catchy and as you say, all over id="hidden2" class="buttons"> the place. And how can anyone not love a heavy metal song where the lyrics are "before 7 comes 6. before 6 comes 5. before 5 comes WOOO 4!" Yui & Moa are genius songwriters. Nobody else could get away with it. ....وسعت 4

    @BenC460منذ 7 سنوات Welcome back! Yeah, one of Yui and Moa's main purposes in Babymetal is to hype the crowd and give the crowd ques for participation. I think of them id="hidden3" class="buttons"> sort of like singing dancing cheerleaders. The songs lyrics are pretty simple. Yon, Japanese for four sounds like the word for death. So the song is basically them counting and making puns. The lyrics were written by Yui and Moa when they were 12 or so. ....وسعت 6

    @rickwagner-منذ 7 سنوات It's "yon" (4) as opposed to yo-yo, etc. : )
    The song is about the number four. In one of the Japanese numbering systems, 4 is "shi" id="hidden5" class="buttons"> which sounds like the word for death and it is considered unlucky.
    In the other numbering system, 4 is "yon". This song talks about positive things that sound like the words for 4.
    4no Uta origin -
    Official credits: Lyric: BLACK BABYMETAL (Yui and Moa!!!) / Music: BLACK BABYMETAL / Arr.: tatsuo, KxBxMETAL
    Yui and Moa made up this song during the Singapore 2013 tour, and repeated it over and over again to the point that staff complained about it. : )
    Su suggested the theme of "4" as a challenge to Yui and Moa after they successfully made up songs on the themes of "banana" and "wood". (Thanks to YouTube commenter 444 for this info and links.)
    BTW, BABYMETAL's Wembley date was April 2nd 2016.

    @masanoriwakabayashi6586منذ 7 سنوات The choriography, shishi as they are putting their index fingeis to their lips, the number 4, in Japanese, its vead and said as yon, and shi.
    The id="hidden6" class="buttons"> girls are combining the sound when you ask people to put down the volume. And when they put the four fingers, as yon meaning the number 4, its just a posing when they put their four fingers over their heads.
    The song is to try to enjoy literally as "shi" also comes another sound when we say and shi or 死/death as the sound when we say 4/shi it reminds of death/死, just the superstious thing carried over generations in Japan. The girls are trying to say hey the number 4 is not bad at all just because the way we say 4/shi is the same as 死/shi.

    @MacTaipanمنذ 7 سنوات Hi Dave!
    A little more background on the lyrics: The song is about the number 4. The Japanese written characters (Kanji) were adopted from Chinese. In today's Japanese, most characters have two different readings, a traditional Japanese one (kun'yomi) and one derived from Chinese (on'yomi). When counting, Japanese mostly use the Japanese reading for the numbers (ichi, ni, san.). But since the number of "syllables" in Japanese is relatively limited, there are also a lot of homophones (words which are pronounced the same, but have a different meaning). This is the case for the Japanese reading of the number 4 - shi -, which also means "death". So most Japanese consider it bad luck and avoid the reading "shi" and use the Chinese reading "yon" instead (the same is true for the number 7, where "nana" is used instead of "shichi"). The song basically plays with several words that contain the syllables shi (and yon) and still have a positive meaning, thus trying to lift the stigma a bit. ....وسعت

    If id="hidden9" class="buttons"> I may suggest a Babymetal song from the "and now for something COMPLÉTELY different" category. I would really love to see your reaction and opinion on "From Dusk Till Dawn" from the second album!
    Thing is,. there's no official MV for it and most recordings of the live performance at the Hollywood Paladium on june16th 2017 (first ever live performance of the song) are incomplete or have bad sound quality.
    BUT.!
    Someone calling him/(her?)self ICanReadRomaji did us all an incredible favor by putting together the best available fancam clips of that evening's performance, overlaying the albumtrack over it and making it available on G-Drive. The outcome is awesome!
    You can find it here:
    I guarantee you will be surprised and as you like Su's voice,. probaly pleasantly. ;)
