This video explains every Jaw Titan in the Attack on Titan anime and manga. The Jaw Titan is one of 9 titan shifters in AOT and there have been several iterations of it throughout the series. In the AOT manga we have currently seen more jaw titans than in the anime, which has only had 3 Jaw Titans so far (Ymir, Porco Galliard & Marcel Galliard). The manga displays Jaw Titans of the past, some of which have interesting designs. The founding titan Ymir appeared 2000 years ago and her power was eventually split into the 9 shifters, with the jaw titan being one of them. It goes without saying that every Jaw titan has a few things in common, regardless of how different their designs may be, for example they each have an unparalleled crushing strength, which was best displayed when Porco was forced to destroy the warhammer titans crystal. The first Jaw titan on this list is Marcel Galliard, who was one of 4 Marlyean warriors chosen to infiltrate Paradis island. We know a lot about Marcel’s personality due to comments made by other people. Annie believed the Paradis mission wouldn’t be successful without Marcel. Porco and Marcel were actually brothers and were quite close. As we saw in the anime, Marcel was protective of his younger brother, even going as far as to influence Marley to give Reiner the armoured titan instead of Porco. Moving on, Ymir was the very first jaw titan we actually saw in this series and she undeniably had a tragic backstory. She was originally a nameless orphan living on the streets of Marley, before she was picked up a cult leader who gave her a name. He called her Ymir, because Ymir Fritz was the name of the original founding titan. This man grew his cult by pretending this new Ymir had royal blood and people in this cult began to worship her almost like a god. Ymir initially tried to eat Reiner, but Marcel pushed him out the way and was eaten instead. By consuming the spine of a titan shifter, Ymir regained her humanity and became the new jaw titan in the process. Ymir's jaw titan had no hardened skin covering her face and her claws were significantly smaller in size. The third jaw titan on this list is Porco Gallliard. Porco inherited this titan after Ymir willing let herself be taken back to Marley and when we’re first introduced to this character he gets straight into the action, by protecting Gabi and Falco from enemy fire. Porco’s Jaw titan is very similar to his brothers in terms of design, however they’re not completely identical. Falco was introduced as warrior candidate from Marley and is a member of the Grice family. His uncle was one of the leading members of the eldian restorationists alongside Grisha Yaeger and his older brother Colt was the designated successor to inherit the beast titan. Without Zeke’s spinal fluid entering his mouth, Falco never would’ve become what he became. Falco’s Jaw Titan possesses two sets of teeth, with the inner mouth looking like a regular titan and the outer jaw being a hardened set of jagged teeth. When he closes this outer Jaw, you’ll notice how it literally looks like he has a beak, which is because Zeke's spinal fluid gave Falco’s titan more animalistic characteristics. Both his arms are covered in thick fur and his hands are literally sharp bird claws which were strong enough to start crumbling the roof of a building on this titans first appearance. Later in the manga, we see that Falco’s titan has evolved even further, as he inherits memories from a previous flying Beast titan and realises that he is able to fly himself. When we finally see him in the sky, his jaw titan is covered in fur from head to toe and he’s sprouted a full set of wings with an enormous wingspan. Consider everything, Falco's jaw titan might be the most useful jaw titan ever, as he can do everything a regular jaw can do, with the extra benefit of being able to fly.
