Teacher’s Day is celebrated across India today on 5th September to celebrate the birthday of former President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. who is a well-known scholar, teacher, and promoter of education. This year we are going to celebrate 132 birth anniversary and it is celebrated across the world on September 5 We all know teaching is the most influential work in the world. Teachers are the only person who shapes the mind of youth and everyone knows without knowledge no one can exist in this world. The first teacher’s day was celebrated when President Radhakrishnan assumed his office in the year 1962. He was the first vice-president of India and succeeded Rajendra Prasad to become the second President of the country. He was finally conferred with Bharat Ratna in 1954 and he was also nominated 11 times for Novel Peace Prize until he passed away in 1975. This day aims to value and acknowledge the contribution of all the teachers in shaping young’s live. People started celebrating teacher’s day from 1994 and now it has been a UNESCO tradition too celebrate the engrossment and accomplishment of teachers and also the primacies that they put on the field of education.
