A Message for Riverside House Care Home from Our Dementia Choir

Our Caring UK Awards-winning activity team at Morpeth House have been busy supporting the home's residents in forming a dementia choir over the last few months. Inspired by the BBC documentary Our Dementia Choir with Vicky McClure of Line of Duty fame, Riverside House were keen to form their own choir with the goal of putting on a performance for the local community. After months of rehearsals, the home’s activity coordinator, Richard Dobinson, will lead the ‘Riverside House Forget Me Not Choir’ onto the stage at St James’ Community Centre in Morpeth this afternoon (24th February). Yesterday, the residents of the home received a wonderful boost ahead of the big performance with a video message from Vicky McClure’s dementia choir.
