Hello friends,
Kalakand is a mouth watering exotic indian sweet made out of milk with different textures and sugar along with other optional flavoring agents. It is extremely juicy with soft crumbs on the inside but has a melt in mouth texture and yet is firm enough to shape. This luscious sweet is liked by people of all ages and is a common sweet for all festivals.
Although it is an extremely time taking process, I'll be showing you an easy version that is the instant kalakand which takes hardly 6 minutes to cook. Although time may vary depending on the microwave type.
In the video I' l be sharing few variations of kalakand.
So here is a quick fix for this lockdown raksha bandhan.

INGREDIENTS
for basic kalakand
1 Tbsp ghee (or 2 Tbsp melted)
1 cup- 200 gms. milk powder
1/3 -1/2 - 80-100 gms. sugar
1/2 cup- 100 -120 ml milk
200 gms. homemade paneer
1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Saffron / Kesar pista kalakand
1 Tbsp ghee (or 2 Tbsp melted)
1 cup- 200 gms. milk powder
1/3 -1/2 - 80-100 gms. sugar
1/2 cup- 120 ml milk
200 gms. homemade paneer
2 Tbsp saffron milk masala powder
....
Orange kalakand
1 Tbsp ghee (or 2 Tbsp melted)
1 cup- 200 gms. milk powder
1/3 -1/2 - 80-100 gms. sugar
1/2 cup- 120 ml milk
200 gms. homemade paneer
2 Tbsp orange powder (tang or any other flavour)
few pistachio for garnishing

Rose flavour
1 Tbsp ghee (or 2 Tbsp melted)
1 cup- 200 gms. milk powder
1/3 -1/2 - 80-100 gms. sugar
1/2 cup- 120 ml milk
200 gms. homemade paneer
2 Tbsp homemade gulkand (or any other preserve)

200 ग्राम घर का बना पनीर
आधा चम्मच इलायची पाउडर

केशर पिस्ता कलाकंद के लिए
1 बड़ा चम्मच घी (या 2 बड़ा चम्मच पिघला)
1 कप- 200 ग्राम दूध पाउडर
1/3 -1/2 कप - 80-100 ग्राम चीनी
आधा कप- 100 - 120 मिली. दूध
200 ग्राम घर का बना पनीर
2 बड़े चम्मच केसर दूध मसाला पाउडर

नारंगी कलाकंद के लिए
1 बड़ा चम्मच घी (या 2 बड़ा चम्मच पिघला)
1 कप- 200 ग्राम दूध पाउडर
1/3 -1/2 कप - 80-100 ग्राम चीनी
आधा कप- 100 - 120 मिली. दूध
200 ग्राम। घर का बना पनीर
2 बड़े चम्मच नारंगी पाउडर ( या कोई अन्य स्वाद )
गार्निशिंग के लिए कुछ पिस्ता

गुलाब के स्वाद के लिए
1 बड़ा चम्मच घी (या 2 बड़ा चम्मच पिघला)
1 कप- 200 ग्राम दूध पाउडर
1/3 -1/2 कप - 80-100 ग्राम चीनी
आधा कप - 100 -120 मिली लीटर दूध
200 ग्राम घर का बना पनीर
2 बड़े चम्मच घर का बना गुलकंद (या किसी अन्य फल मुरब्बा)
