Even though according to IGN GTA 5 is free within the first 3 months of release for the PS5, not everyone will be able to get their hands on the console during that time because almost every PlayStation 5 fan will be ordering the console on release and most of them will be back ordered for a couple months. And by the time most people receive the console, the 3 months will mostly be gone, thus GTA 5 enthusiasts having to re-buy the game for PS5.
And we don't know what Rockstar may do for GTA 5 for PS5. They may make changes with a few new missions or even quality of life updates which are specifically for PS5 or next gen consoles like they did when GTA 5 was ported over to PS4 from PS3. Rockstar may even resort to re-coding a lot of the game for next gen consoles as a lot of people are saying, the game isn't able to fully utilise the current gen console's power because it was originally made for PS3. And since it was ported over from PS3 to PS4 and from that to PS5, the same issue would persist. Because it was still originally made for PS3, not PS5. ....وسعت 1
