Interview with one of the nominees for the Inches Carr Craft Award. Outstanding talent from across Scotland’s craft, art and design industry was recognised by the Inches Carr Scottish Craft Awards in Aberdeen on Wednesday 26 April 2017. The awards, established by the Inches Carr Trust, celebrate new and innovative work being produced by graduates of Scotland’s art and design colleges. Now in its second year’ the 2017 ceremony was hosted by Gray’s School of Art and saw prizes totalling £10,000 awarded to four Scottish art school graduates - Jordan Mcginlay (Gray’s School of Art), Joanne Dawson (Glasgow School of Art), Juli Bolanos-Durman (Edinburgh College of Art) and Agne Visniauskaite (Edinburgh College of Art). Robin Blair, Chair of the Inches Carr Trust, said: “Scotland is home to a great number of wonderfully talented creative graduates, many of whom go on to become internationally acclaimed.
