Fat Top is a very traditional Guyanese dessert that many people know and love. It consists of two layers; the bottom being the cornmeal layer, and the top being the thick and creamy coconut layer. I think the top layer is what makes this dish so popular because it is so good. I did notice that this is a favorite of many people, and that not many people in the younger generations can make this. This recipe is very simple and easy to follow, so go ahead and give it a try.
