Gangotri Dham is one of the main Char Dham pilgrimage which lies in Gangotri National Park in Uttarkashi . This is 30 km from a very beautiful small village Harshil and 95 km from Uttarkashi . I visited Gangotri in Nov 2021 and it was amazingly serene and beautiful at that time . River Ganges which originated from Gomukh glacier appears very first here at Gangotri for pilgrims . Road from Uttarkashi to Gangotri is very good in condition except some small patches .
