Duties
The incumbent manages the receiving and inventory operations of the U.S. Mission. The incumbent supervises and ensures appropriate handling of items received from local and offshore vendors. The incumbent plans and executes the annual property inventory and prepares reports of discrepancies and/or damages ensuring that all USG properties are located and counted.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: At least three years of similar or progressively more responsible experience in expendable/non-expendable property management, warehousing and/or inventory management is required. Minimum one year of supervisory experience is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have knowledge of inventory control and storage/warehousing methodologies.
Education Requirements:
Completion of Bachelor’s degree in the field of Management, Business Administration, Business Management or Social Sciences is required.
Evaluations:
These may be tested (Language, Skills and Abilities).
LANGUAGE: Fluent speaking/reading/writing English is required. Fluent speaking/reading/writing Nepali is required

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The ability to use various computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and other specialized software for property management is required. Ability to lift 50 lbs is required. Must have a valid local Class B driving license.
