Interview with Dr Lee Roberson by Mike Royer (TTU 1975)

A few years before Dr.Roberson went to Heaven I saw that he was going to speak at Bill Compton's church in North Alabama. I called his office and asked to speak to him. I told him I'd like to come to the church early and do an interview with him. He at first said something like;' "Mike I don't know if I have much to say that's very interesting." Then he asked; "Is this important to you." I said; "Yes sir it is." He agreed to the interview. Before Temple closed, I offered this interview to the school suggesting that they raise money by offering the interview for sale. I never heard back from them. I watched the interview today for the first time since I recorded it. I hope his daughter June, Tennessee Temple graduates and anyone connected to the university will enjoy it. Familiar themes and challenges. Seeing an hearing him brings back a flood of memories. Mike Royer
