Still, We never get enough recognition from society. Either we talked about Rocketry & Oppenheimer, both scientist deserved better treatment for their work. But, politics is dirty game. Power always overruled intelligence. ....وسعت 10

Cillian Murphy id="hidden10" class="buttons"> is perfect as Oppenheimer but the real star is RDJ. However the runtime stretches too long and could've been a little trimmed and the female characters could've a bit more developed. 4/5

Don't think this movie as three hours entertainment, this movie has been made for future citation. id="hidden12" class="buttons"> It was indeed needed to showcase the politics revolving around the entire event. This made the film more realistic as the political part is well documented and his entire life was also a highly classified file in the hands of top bureaucracy.
No comparison with Indian cineam could be done. It's the realism of the cinema which will be cited for and his cinema will be remembered for his stark depiction of realism. Nolan has made his mark with his magnum opus, wait has begun for his next movie from now. ....وسعت 12

Not saying that Rocketry was a bad movie but Oppenheimer is id="hidden16" class="buttons"> a one of a kind movie that has changed the way we look at biopics. Its a biopic, a thriller, a court room drama, power struggle in boardrooms to power struggle between countries, a psyhcological analysis of how power can corrupt men and moreover the moral dilemma gifted men have to constantly face. It fires dialogue packed with information at a relentless pace and jumps to very different times in Oppenheimer's life continuously through it's 3 hour runtime. There are visual clues to guide the viewer through these times but again you'll have to get to grips with these quite quickly. This relentlessness helps to express the urgency with which the US attacked it's chase for the atomic bomb before Germany could do the same.All in all I found it an intense, taxing but highly rewarding watch. Some movies have some important message to convey to the world and it shouldn't be adulterated by romantic bullshits. Educating the audience through thorough contents is essential for all the age groups, for children it is a means to develop curiosity, for adults to deal with their own conscience. it's idiotic to think that ppl buy ticket to go watch atom bombs. they can witness that in any of the history tv channels or YouTube. Myth of movie making for the sole purpose of entertainment should be really eliminated. at this time, many Bollywood movies are made with much focus on social issues not solely for entertainment. ....وسعت 8
