Brisbane Broncos recruit Jock Madden will start at halfback in the team's final pre-season trial of 2023 on Saturday night, with captain Adam Reynolds rested due to a tight back. Coach Kevin Walters says he's pleased with Madden's work at training, and is hoping the 22-year-old can transfer that form to the field against the Cowboys on the Sunshine Coast.
