A clip from a great day at Ringstead, getting low on my way to the cliffs, another frontal using too much bar followed by some fun wingovers. :)

@cheyno2374 years ago This is the pilot personality they warn you of in paragliding school. New pilots watching this need to recognize that no amount of skill will save him in the event of a big enough collapse. Dude is flying on luck. 88

@Itsallgoodtogo4 years ago Is it only me or was the frontal collapse the least risky situation in this whole video? 132

@vistaworx6345 years ago I flew Hang Gliders for 6 years and up to competition standard, all I can say is ...it's just a matter of time mate. 63

@ozone76 years ago Your carefree attitude is only seen in fresh pilots that has not yet suffered an accident.
You are constantly flying on the very edge, where even the smallest deviation in lift/turbulence/topography from what you predict (or hope), will end you in the trees (or worse) sooner or later. Never mind the front collapse which was in my opinion the least disturbing thing in this video. ...

@przemos78166 years ago This is very, very, very risky.
A year ago I had an accident when surfing a ridge similar like you do in the video. The wing front stalled when I was low, no altitude for recovery, I hit the ground.
I broke my spine in 2 places, luckily for me it wasn't complete spinal cord injury. 12 months after Im solwly learnig to walk again although Ive got no control over my feet, bladder and my penis:(
(I had 12 years of experience before the accident)

@suesun70724 years ago Will your relatives upload your final video too? I'd love to see that one for analytics! When I read comments about what a great pilot he is, I start to wonder! Strange how people define "good & skilled". A good pilot won't risk his life like this. Period! Russian roulette has nothing to do with skills either. Five and a half mins of mental behaviour! A perfect "How not to paraglide" video! ... 15

@ecoturismovalle15706 years ago Why so much acro so close to the cliff? is that really needed?.....don´t mean to sound like your mom but if you want to enjoy the sport a few years more.... 30

@petermartinverduyn6 years ago How strong was the wind? Looks fun
It looks like could have/should have flown a speed wing in the second part of the video. Although you probably would have hit the ground then 😁

@sza19856 years ago What if those brake lines, which are already ripped at multiple points, snapped during those crazy moves so close to terrain? 3
  • @
@picramide6 years ago I mean it in the nicest way, but I think you are stark raving mad to fly a wing with that aspect ratio under those conditions. 22

@Artur32375 years ago I also flew like that when just started 19 years ago. Even w/o helmets. In fife years I became prudent. Lucky, that I did not suffered incidents. Absolutely agree that this is dangerous for watching by fresh pilots. Take care everyone pls. ... 8

@DL-kc8fc10 months ago I have been flying for over 20 years and still have a great respect (fear) for flying, which has ensured that I am still flying injury free. Paragliding is a safe sport as long as the rules are followed. Anyone who violates them will one day experience disaster. ... 4

@paraglidingtalk6 years ago that was crazy. That boom flies pretty fast. you were super low coming into the cliffs. I thought you were going to hit that power line. 19
  • @
@IANRPARKER6 years ago It's probably just a matter of time before you have an accident if you continue to fly like this. The cost of such an accident will be paid for by everyone but you also risk continued use of the site too thus depriving others of enjoying flying here. ... 7

@DeuceGeniuslast year one hell of a pilot here. but youre toying around with your life. unnecessary. what made it collapse going too slow?
  • @
@johnfinagin3516 years ago Cut it too fine and it only takes a tiny amount of wingtip and an unexpected unevenness in the air to turn this into you being another paragliding casualty. Not being pious - just come out of a cast and doing my daily physio to fly again. ... 3

@Sean_Coyne6 years ago Gawd, since my PPL for light planes and gliders was cancelled (heart condition) I fly RC planes and slope soarers with FPV camera onboard and even I wouldn't get that close...and I can always walk TOWARDS any accident.
There are bold pilots and old pilots....

@LeoSavantt6 years ago What are doing aren't wing-overs, which considering that you are flying a high aspect ratio glider in a supine harness is just as well. A real wing-over allows you to see the ground over the trailing edge of the glider, much harder to execute well than sat, spiral or even helicopter, and very difficult to recover from if done badly. ... 1

@jonnilaumann6 years ago totally awesome flight...i fly like you..I like the parabolic flight too...and you are flying a pro wing..wow..I Dont understand why so many disliked your video..envy?? you where never in danger, you didnt disrupted any other in air..and love your voice(singing, and the hope not to land on beach)....I do the same when lift is near to none, just praying, but worst case is i just have to walk..pfff.... and i bet you can land me...even stall it to best landing...YOU are good, dont let anyone tell you other wise..!!!!! ... 2

Minden a levegőben ellesett mozdulatodra van egy nézőközönségi reakció ! Nagyon élveztem a felvételt, folyamatosan terheltem magam alatt a széket !
