House Crow eating it's own chick (cannibalism) Was surprised to see the House Crow (Corvus splendens) first trying to pull the dead chick from its nest. As it could not drag the big sized chick, it started pecking and feeding on it. The female quivered its tail (behaviour before mating) and did not eat the chick. Dt. 16 May 2021.
