The Road to Hana is the #1 road trip in Hawaii. A must when you're in Maui. And it's all about the journey, as there are so many beautiful stops along the drive. No hurry to reach Hana! You see so many waterfalls! Amazing! 😍 Actually, there are more stops along the way than you can actually cover in one day, so you'll have to choose which ones to see. You can also overnight in east Maui and have a second chance to enjoy more attractions. This video is a detailed guide to help you prepare for the road to Hana in Maui, Hawaii. Along the vlog, you'll see the 10 stops we chose for our day trip, and in the end, some more specific tips about things we learned. One thing I forgot to mention there: Is the road to Hana dangerous? Not during the day, as people tend to drive carefully given the narrow road. At night I'd avoid. Maui is a beautiful island in Hawaii (actually the second-largest, only behind Hawaii island) and is the 17th largest in the United States. It's quieter and more relaxed compared to Oahu, also with fewer tourists. Nature here is wild and untouched in many places. And the Hana highway is certainly among the most scenic roads in the USA! ► Previous vlog: Beaches in the morning and volcano in the afternoon - /watch/7=xedni&Bq-AxevnYxN8OSoEgPYKL7oH5sGO81tULP=tsil&krD0zCu77ad7e ► All videos in Hawaii: /watch/Bq-AxevnYxN8OSoEgPYKL7oH5sGO81tULP=tsil&AGyJIAAFC40FA Watch this trip since the beginning 😉 🚩 This trip to Hawaii was in 2020, just before the pandemic. --- SUBSCRIBE to discover the world with us ► http://bit.ly/Renata_YouTube --- Maui, Hawaii: The Road to Hana - travel vlog 3 00:00 - About the Road to Hana 00:54 - Stop 1 - Ho'okipa Beach Park (big waves) 02:26 - Stop 2 - Kaumahina State Wayside (infrastructure) 02:59 - Stop 3 - Keanae Arboretum (rainbow eucalyptus) 04:11 - Stop 4 - Keanae (lava peninsula) 05:57 - Stop 5 - Hana Lava Tube (lava cave) 08:29 - Stop 6 - Waiʻānapanapa State Park (black sand beach) 11:31 - Stop 7 - Koki Beach Park (red sand beach) 11:59 - Stop 8 - Wailua Falls (see from the road) 12:22 - Stop 9 - Haleakala National Park - Kipahulu (tough hike, bamboo forest, 7 sacred pools) 16:49 - Stop 10 - Hana 17:03 - Tips to prepare for the drive #RenataInHawaii #RenataInTheUSA #RenataInMaui #RenataInNorthAmerica Want to travel and create videos? I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life! P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉 --- NEW VIDEO ►►► https://goo.gl/rhM6Pw ---
