Tinolang Tahong
Tinolang Tahong is a type of soup with mussels. Fresh mussels are cleaned and cooked in ginger and lemongrass. You can cook Tinolang Tahong using veggies such as malunggay leaves, spinach mine is lettuce. It is best consumed during cold weather.

Ingredients:
1/2 kilos of mussels, cleaned
1 thumb ginger, chopped
1 stalk lemongrass
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cups water
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
*Heat a cooking pot with salt.
*Add mussels, cook for 2 minutes and set aside.
*Heat oil in a cooking pot.
*Saute garlic, onion, and ginger.
*Combine it to mussels and cook for 2 minutes.
*Pour-in water and add lemon grass, cook for 5 minutes.
*Add pepper. Stir.
*Gently slide-in the lettuce.
*Transfer to a serving bowl.
*Serve.
