Lake Hopatcong Walleye and Hybrid Striped Bass Night Fishing OPS

Ok, so my buddy Chris and I hit our favorite lake in New Jersey for the sunset and night bite. Hybrids and Walleye were our target species but we were cool with whatever we caught. The key for this time of year is to throw baitfish imitating lures into the shallow water that has good structure and try to imitate the spawning herring or whatever baitfish are present in the lakes. Once the sun starts setting and the water temps cool off, the fish start ravenously feeing. This video was just a taste of the action you can get into this time of year fishing lakes at night. Even the bass will go crazy over topwater or shallow diving plugs like you saw in this vid so you dont even need to be fishing a lake that has walleye or hybrids!
