An original song written for Julie in memory of her husband Dustin. It was supposed to be a love song to him for her, but after praying and yielding to what the Spirit gave me, it turned into a love song to her from him. It’s a little rough, but wanted to share while it’s fresh. Hello beautiful, it’s me, looking down from heaven, just to see. How you’re doin’, if you’re ok. You know I’m only just a memory away. I’m in the ocean, and in the sky, and in the twinkle of that little Toot’s eye. In The Air Tonight is crankin’ in Ol’ Red, sittin’ beside you’s where I’d rather be instead But God had different plans, His timings’ not my own, I’ll be waiting when it’s time for you to come back home. But for now, send me a song. Know I’m with you and I want to sing along. Holding you close, wrapped in my love, keeping you safe with all the angels up above. We traveled far, in a few years, we laughed a lot and then we even shared some tears. Down winding roads, to who knows where, it didn’t matter just as long as you were there. But God had different plans, His timings’ not my own, I’ll be waiting when it’s time for you to come back home. Of all the things, I’ve loved the most, like tractors, farmin’, God above, Time with family, football too, they don’t compare to the life I built with you. Please remember, don’t be sad. We had so much more than many people have. And all the history, that we made, is the legacy I leave beyond the grave My God had different plans, His timings’ not my own, I’ll be waiting when it’s time for you to come back home. Come back home.
