Dal Makhani Ingredients
Cooking Dal
- 1 cup of black gram / काली उरद दाल
- 2 tsp Red Kidney Beans / राजमा
-1 tsp Salt
- 2 glass Water
Tadka
- 2 tbsp oil or ghee
- 2 chopped onions
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 3-4 tomato puree
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli
- coriander leaves
- water
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Butter
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Fresh Cream
Method
- In a pressure cooker add black gram, red kidney beans, salt, and water & keep it for 2-3 whistles.
- In a pan add ghee and onions and cook it until the onions turn brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, salt, red chili powder, and coriander leaves.
- open cooker mash daal and add ccooked t to the to the tadka and cook it for 7-8 minutes.
- In other pan add butter or oil, red chili powder and pour it over dal and add coriander and fresh cream. Dal Makhani is ready
Ingredients for Rumali Roti :
All purpose flour maida -1 1/2 cup
Wheat flour- 1/4 cup
Milk- 1 cup or as needed
Salt- 1 tsp
Cooking oil or ghee - 2 tbsp
method for rumali roti -
make a soft dough of all the ingredints
keep it on rest for half an hour make very thin roti like rumal and cook over a kadhai or a tawa serve hot with dal makhani.
