This duo have been friends from a very young age and it was at this time that their passion for music was identified, nurtured and were involved in many rap battles. The two lyrical masters attained Bsc.Hons in accounting at NJALA University. During their college days, they formed a musical group called Best Talent Collaboration [BTC] which featured Base one, Latifa and Skull P. The very first song the two certified Degree Rappers recorded was done in 2011 at Freedom records in Bo, produced by Solo and titled "FreeBorn". BTC was a musical group and each artist was liable to go, Solo, Kracktwist, and Samza however, decided to collaborate and work as one, sharing ideas when building a new song. In 2014, they were spotted by the CEO of West African Family (WAF Ent) and were signed as a sub-label of WAF Ent, BTC/WAF Ent. Kracktwist and his partner Samza decided to release the famous album titled "SAME LIFE" in 2015, where they started, by recording a hit single titled "PA ALAKI", followed by the song "SAME LIFE NORMORE", which is arguably the breakthrough single of the Popular Certified Degree Rappers Samza who is well known for the slogan "hmmmba" believes that his authentic Krio style of rap mixed with his local language ( Temne) is irresistible and makes him stand out amongst others. Kracktwist who is often referred to as Lamina Gboto sees himself as a legend because he believes his rap skills can make you laugh, educate you and enable you to recognize greatness. Kracktwist and samza were signed to the Prestigious Kabaka Multimedia Entertainment [KME] alongside other artists in 2017. They also made international collaboration with Fafadi from Senegal, Double T from the Gambia and have worked with other Sierra Leonean artists and other Top KME Artists. The 2018 NEA award winning Duo have been releasing hits after hits ranging from Thop, Korkordor, 'How you see am' and many more. On March 2nd 2019, they released their second Album titled "Wi jonkshon" at the Radisson Blu Garden in Freetown which posed to be very successful; making available promotional songs like; Die nor dae notice, Wi Jonkshon, Respect ft Shadow Boxxer and Same life Remix featuring many Sierra Leonean Hip Hop artists. Even though they are both financially stable, they intend to enter the accounting field practicing what they studied at university. As of late Kracktwist and Samza are now independent from KME and now own their own label, with multiple songs already released.
