An optical and acoustic pleasure. ================= The four elements of Nature from Antonella Piccoli The EARTH, which protects, nourishes, and enables the plant seeds to grow, feeds all living beings. Bruno Gröning tells us: “God puts the seeds into Mother Earth.” The WATER, which fructifies the earth, enlivens. Water flows, quenches our thirst, and cleans us. FIRE, which warms us, makes food palatable, and gives us power . . . fire appears in the color of the leaves in autumn. AIR, which enables life on earth with every breath, lightens us and brings joy through the colors of the rainbow. God is in each of the four elements of nature and we can discover God in nature. Love is contained in each of these four elements. Bruno Gröning said, “The Earth has no support, nothing holding her up. She is carried solely by the love of God.” He also said, “The Lord God lets everything grow for humans and animals so we can live, so we can exist.” The human being also has these four elements in his/her body. Bruno Gröning said, “The body is an entire opus, out of which each person can learn that God has created our bodies, through which we can recognize how great and mighty God is.” “Humanity is dependent on nature. We cannot withdraw ourselves from nature.
