Today, I’m sharing the recipe of Instant Kalakand . Kalakand is a exotic traditional indian sweet dessert prepared from solidified milk and Cheese . it is a popular sweet recipe from the cuisine of state uttar pradesh , but certainly today kalakand sweet is widely appreciated and liked by every one. This sweet recipe is the very simple yet tasty recipe and prepared in no time. You must try it at home. INGREDIENTS - 250 Gms. Cheese. - 1 Cup Milk Powder. - 1 Cup Milk maid. - 2 Tbsp Clarified Butter. - A handful of Chopped Pistachios. RECIPES - Crumble Cheese in a Pot. Mash nicely. Use fresh homemade cheese as they will be more moist and fresh. - Put Crumbled Cheese in a Wok. Stir it nicely, Keep flames on Low. - Add Milk Powder and mix. - Add Milkmaid and Stir again nicely. - Keep Stirring. Turn flames to medium. - cook on medium flame till the milkmaid melts completely and the mixture starts to thicken. - Add Clarified Butter and stir again. - Mix till the mixture starts to separate the pan and forms a lump. - Grease a pot with a brush. - Transfer the mixture to the greased pot. - level it up and set to a block making an inch thick. - Garnish with finely chopped pistachios or any nuts of your choice. - Press gently with the back of spoon so that the nuts stick to kalakand. - Set aside for cooling for 2 hours. You may refrigerate it for 30 minutes, . however, cooling naturally will make kalakand more moist and tasty. - After 2 hours , cut the kalakand into square pieces or any size you want.
