Canned Pinto Beans and Rice with Sausage
A comforting super delicious dinner meal with cooked pinto beans sausage and rice. This dish is one of my favorites because it tastes great, comes together easily over the stovetop with no special kitchen equipment and it's healthy as well. You need canned pinto beans and sausages of your choice. The sausages add flavor and protein to the dish. The rice is served at the side and can be plain rice, cilantro-lime rice, or any other flavored rice. This is my go-to one-pot dish after a long day at work. I also like to make it on a camping trip because of its simplicity.

For the rice
1 cup rice
salt pinch

1 Tablespoon Oil olive, sunflower, canola, vegetable
1 Onion any
2 cloves Garlic fresh
7 ounces Sausage *see Notes
¼ cup Tomato Sauce
1 Teaspoon Salt
½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
