Some people may disagree, but think about it. While there are videos on YouTube of American Pitbulls being used for law enforcement, therapy work, search and rescue, protection work, weight pulling, fly ball, dock jumping, French ring, retrieving docks, sheep herding, etc. and have satisfactory performances by the people that use them for those things, rotts are really not seen in wild boar hunting, badger hunting, dog combat, bear baiting (yes, there are still bear baiting matches going on, and Pitbulls are sometimes used for it), and wild boar baiting, people are either not using rotts at all, or are not really satisfied with the performance of rotts as they are with Pitbulls. ....وسعت 24

I stepped out the gate to do a wall check.And I noticed two LARGE Rot Wilders across street.They noticed me, and quickly id="hidden5" class="buttons"> walked over to me.Before I knew it they were standing next to mention me, and checking me out, and sniffing me.The wise thing to do is never show any fear, stay calm! Needless to say I was nervous these were large Rot Wilders. I tried to keep them from entering the grounds but they wouldn't listen.I made an announcement that they were on the grounds, they managed to exit, out of the front gate without incident!.Another incident my boxer unfortunately, got into a fight with a pit bull. My boxer dosen't back down, he put up a very good fight but the pit bull won.We had to pry the pit bull off him! ....وسعت 22

@michaelpaige542قبل 10 أشهر I heard one thing that I hate hearing in this video, and that is pitbull terriers have lockjaw when the fact is no they don’t, due to improper breeding. Sometimes the dogs jaw will pop out of place when it should not and because of this the breed gets the reputation of having lockjaw when that’s not the case, the truth is that the jaw has just popped out of socket and when this happens it has to be set back into socket and it’s not good when this happens and it’s strictly due to improper breeding that causes this, however the pitbull terrier is a direct descendent of the original English bulldog that used to be involved in bull baiting therefore they do have a strong will to bite on and not let go like their ancestors which also adds a little confusion into the mix ....وسعت 3

They were both fine with other LITTLE dogs, I also always had ShiTzus id="hidden8" class="buttons"> as well. But I was given a year old male Rottweiler that was bonded with me quickly and my female Rottweiler wasn't having it. My dogs are pets, house dogs. But I couldn't keep both Rottweilers in the same place without the female attacking the male. One night the male jumped in my bed (Lizzie, the female) often slept with me when she was younger. Lizzie came barreling in my room, jumped in the bed and they started fighting as I lay in bed. I was terrified. I squirmed out from under them and grabbed my dressing chair to separate them. Mine were big sucks id="hidden11" class="buttons"> and laptops. Until you came near my family members and any kind of Evan aggressive manner. Then it was like you're done. He likes for our other terrier mix mutt that’s about 20 lbs to chase him, and will try like heck to get him to do so. He’s scared of water. The rotweiller is a more versatile and inteligent breed, physically more like a rugby player, strng and big but with great condition too, but not so oriented to fight as a APB.
Pound per pound the APB is the stronger and with more stamina, but a rotweiller is twice the size and probably will win a fight. ....وسعت

Any animal or person for that matter can be aggressive/vicious id="hidden19" class="buttons"> toward others when brought up in the wrong environment. I had a female pitbull, she was the sweetest thing , I never had to put her on a leash and could let her out in my yard, she would run around the house and then lay out in the sun, never stepping out of my yard. There was a campground surrounding my property, with people and kids walking by all the time, they would come and pat her but she still would never leave my yard. She wouldn't bother with the other dogs either, she knew she was "better" than them and had a 'better" life, and just ignored their barking when we went for walks around the neighborhood, again without a leash. I blame myself, I should have trained them better. The roti had dominance and was trying to keep it. One day when I was at work they went at it. Only my wife was home, the fight went on but there was no quit in the pitbull, he had endurence. He was not trying to kill the roti but it was a show of dominance. Look at most any terrier breed and youll see this morphology at play. A small jack russel terrier can grab a ground hog that outweighs him by quite a bit, by its throat and either yank the critter around and break its neck or just hold on long enough to suffocate it. As far as fights are concerned from 35 years of breeding, the id="hidden31" class="buttons"> Rott wins the short fights, but if the pits are still able to fight they will wear down the Rott over long battles. The only breed ive seen overcome the pit consistantly is Cane Corsos, they have the pits number for some reason. Generally a good bread Cane will mess up a pit so bad within a short time it is just unable to continue in a long battle. ....وسعت 1

He's very muscular and strong and id="hidden33" class="buttons"> was so easy to train!! I live in the city and thieves would come and steal from me UNTIL I got my dog. They obviously have seen him outside with me because now I haven't had anything stolen in years. People won't even use the sidewalk in front of my house but will cross the street and walk on the other side. He's a VERY loving companion to have. He's my home security system. ....وسعت 1
