Looking for a great Biscuit Recipe? OMG these are so amazing and Fluffy. These will be the best Biscuits you ever had!!
2 cups self rising flour
2 tbsp light brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and grated
1/2 cup buttermilk, cold
1/2 cup evaporated milk, cold
Melted Honey Butter and Sugar, for the top, Recipe follows
3-4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/2 tbsp honey
Preheat Oven to 450 Degrees
Note: Make sure the butter and brown sugar is sifted and butter, buttermilk, and evaporated milk is good and cold.
In a medium bowl, add flour and brown sugar, using a pastry blender or fork, cut the cold butter into the flour until it reaches course crumbs. Make a well in the center and add cold milks and stir everything until well combined and moist (Don't overmix and over knead). Place dough onto a floured surface and using a floured rolling pin, roll into 1/2 inch thick. Using a Glass or Biscuit Cutter, cut into round Biscuits (Small or Big Size). Place Biscuits into a Cookie Sheet with Parshment Paper. Brush with melted honey butter and sprinkle sugar on top. For Small Biscuits, bake for 12-15 Minutes, for Big Biscuits, bake for 15-20 Minutes until light golden brown. Remove from Oven and add butter inside the Biscuits, optional.
