Reuploaded from my old account. There's something I've discovered while watching the bilingual Japanese LaserDisc releases of "Under the Sea" and "The Bare Necessities" I got recently. Now, to start, on "The Bare Necessities", during "Winnie the Pooh", there's a difference on how the lyrics slide as Pooh Bear walks on them. In the US release, they slide from right to left, while in the JP release the words flash one at a time. As for "Under the Sea", during "That's What Makes the World Go 'Round", while the lyric...well, you get the picture, they slide and revolve around in the US release, whereas the JP release has each word flashing around a circle. Now, to my way of thinking, they either may be prototypes of how the lyrics are displayed in the aforementioned songs ("That's What Makes the World Go Round" mostly), or it's just to make it easier for people to learn English as a second language.
