Prior to what effectively served as the death of the site in 2008 and the community from the time migrating to Bricks in Motion, brickfilming activity on the internet was primarily located at Brickfilms.com. The Brickfilms.com-era is usually defined by the likes of dynamic duo films, Leftfield Studios films, The Letter, Good Company, Grace, The Citizen of the Year, and many other classics, but in this video, we go way back to before any of those, and take a deep dive into the formation and earliest days of the site and community. The aim of this video is to demonstrate the extent to which brickfilming "arrived" during this point in time, with major visibility, growth, and the establishment of a community who were now interacting with each other and taking influence from each others' films. We also aim to demonstrate how what happened here is the beginning of a lineage that still continues through to this day. This is the fourth video in this series, and is the second we have made covering this point in time, as the full history of the LEGO Studios Steven Spielberg MovieMaker Set required its own video.
