Girl Rising Guatemala | When I Grow Up

REDMI is a non-profit community organization, integrated by Mayan, indigenous women that graduated from the Abriendo Oportunidades® program, to benefit and provide social assistance and integral development. The mentors work at the community level, implementing programs directed towards girls and adolescent women, seeking to support their empowerment and for them to develop a life plan. This video is one of the final products of a video workshop held in 2019 with girls from Xeabaj and Tzucubal, Nahualá, Sololá, that participated in our Girl Rising Guatemala program, where they learned how to use smartphones and cameras to tell stories.
