In this video I share with you how I make one of my favorite seasonal salad. This dish has so much flavor it will leave you wondering why you ever wasted any time grilling expensive cuts of meat. This dish can be served warm or cold, and keeps good in the fridge for up to a week, perfect to be the main event or an easy way to elevate any feast! Thanks for watching, recipe down bellow. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlacassemakesfood/ TikTok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMJHYV3MC/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/LacasseFood Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/alexlacassemakesfood Grocery list: -4 ears of corn -1/2 lb small sweet peppers (Padrón, Shishito, Jimmy Nardello are a few of my favorites...) -1 red onion -2 lemons -1 bunch of fresh oregano -Smoked paprika powder -Cayenne powder -Dried oregano -Olive oil, salt & pepper -Pecorino cheese Grilled corn salad recipe: For the grilling part, -4 ears of corn (shucked and grilled) -1/2 lb grilled sweet peppers -1 red onion (cut in thick planks and grilled) -2 lemons (halved and grilled) For the vinaigrette, -1/4 cup of grilled lemon juice -1/4 cup of olive oil -2 teaspoons of smoked paprika powder -2 teaspoons of dried oregano -1/4 teaspoon of dried cayenne powder -1 tablespoon of honey (maple syrup, agave or simple sirup works) -2 tablespoons of fresh oregano leaves (if you only use dried that's fine but the fresh stuff add a lot to this dish!) -Salt For serving, -Pecorino shavings (parmesan, cotija or any dry salty cheese would work just fine) -Fresh oregano leaves -Olive oil -Salt Thank you for watching!
