A tough gig, in all kind of circumstances: Heavy winds and rain in the days leading up to the show had caused the crew trouble in setting up the stage in time. This, combined with strict curfew regulations and an obviously exhausted band, made for a shorter show in comparison to Frankfurt two days prior with the band effectively dropping 10 (!) songs! Furthermore, Jon admitted to being tired and home sick and they had a hard time getting the crowd going, though that's something we've gotten used to with Belgian Bon Jovi concerts by now :D The recording was kind of "long lost" and recovered as we were working on the These Days section of our homepage in early 2020. Even then, only a lousy mp3 recording was to be found of it. There are obstacles like a lot of chatter and (out of tune) singing from the nearby crowd in certain songs and a lot of crackle, pop and metallic noises (courtesy of cheap CD media back in the day). After intensive remastering, I think at least the soundscape itself turned out quite listenable and if you get past the side noises appearing now and then, it's a show decent to listen to.
