Exploring Ledges State Park (Iowa) *AMAZING*

GET OUT AND LIVE Ledges State Park was set up in 1924, and is mainly known for its massive sandstone gorge, formed due to Des Moines river eroding the landscape, creating a massive, gorgeous gorge that is perfect for clicking photographs. Hikers will be mesmerized by the wooded trails, covered with maple, oak and basswood trees. Water lovers can opt for a soothing canoe ride or casting their lines into the Des Moines river for a nice catch of fish.
