A little friend joins us for our cauliflower dinner

This little friend was waiting for us while my wife was preparing our dinner. He wasn't that keen on performing for me so I had to give him some gentle hints. Not sure on the identification, it may be an Angle Shades Moth caterpillar Phlogophora meticulosa. We let him keep the remains of the cauliflower and I put him out on my compost heap. Sorry I forgot to take a proper close-up still photo before I let him go.
