Eripiyo X Maina AMV - [Angel of Mine]

A discord user recommended this series just last month. I was a bit hesitant about the premise at first but after reading a couple of manga chapters and watching the first episode, I became completely engrossed in it. The concept of idol culture is a completely foreign world to me and this series offers such a fascinating perspective about it. The timing couldn't be better as well as I've become a fan of ClariS recently and even though they aren't idols, I got to see what it was like being in a concert and I now really want to experience it someday. The main character Eripiyo is a QUEEN! I don't think I'll find a character as memorable as her anytime soon. I initially felt sorry for her because she was shown to be a normal person before she became a hard core idol oshi. It feels like a tragic story but her passion and loyalty is undeniable and ultimately the most endearing aspect of the series. The rest of the cast are great and lovable as well. If the idols were real, I feel I would be a fan of Aya. She really wants to succeed in being an idol and I enjoyed what she brought to the series. I so desperately want this manga to be translated in English now. Please let a publisher pick it up soon. All I can do to support the series I've come to love is by buying their physical manga and I really want to see how this one ends. I have low hopes for a season 2 and I am not really excited for the upcoming live action adaption. Editing this was more time consuming than usual because I end up just genuinely watching and enjoying the scenes. This is easily my favorite anime I've seen since the year began as well as one of my favorite videos to have worked on. I'm so happy to have been able to edit it with this specific song.
