My review of the Dyson AM07 Tower Fan compared with a Klarstein pedestal fan in bedroom

Not sure, think it was because I had two fans plugged in, didnt want to blow a fuse etc.. If you want to know what the sound is like - listen to a dyson cordless fan, reduce the loudness by about 20% and youll have a good idea on how it sounds (highish pitched white noise). To confirm, the Klarstein is silent / quite on low settings. The dyson is not quite on its lowest level so in terms of noise, the Klarstein wins handsdown.
