Kanpur Murder-Kidnap case: Abductors demanded 20 lakh; Family alleges negligence by Kanpur cops

The Gunda raj in Uttar Pradesh has seen no end, with the cases indicating lawlessness in the state, another such incident was reported in Kanpur where a 27-year-old accountant's body went missing. It is reported that the accountant went missing from July 16, following which the abductors contacted the family and asked a ransom of Rs 20 lakh. His body was then recovered on July 28. The family is blaming the police for sheer negligence on their part and how they messed up the case which led to the accountant's murder. The victim's relative stated that an inquiry should be done in order to provide justice to the accountant. He also explains how negligent the police were and how their points often go unheard.
