Episode 66: Oven Baked Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts

Good Morning my Friends! I am making Homemade Doughnuts that is Baked, not Fried! And with a Cinnamon Sugar Glaze, it doesn't get any better than this!! Perfect for Breakfast and/or Brunch. 2 cups self rising flour 1 1/2 cups white sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 1/8 tsp ground cloves 1/8 tsp ground allspice 1 1/4 cups evaporated milk 1 extra large egg 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract Cinnamon Sugar Glaze 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees In a large bowl, sift flour, sugar, and spices all together and set aside. In a measuring cup, add evaporated milk and egg..Whisk together to lightly beaten the egg, then add melted butter and vanilla and continue whisking until well combined (Do not overwhisk). Pour wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined. Spoon batter into 2 greased mini doughnut pan 3/4 way inch. Bake for 17 minutes or until toothpick in the center comes out clean. Remove from Oven and cool on wire rack Completely. Place doughnuts on a pan. Cinnamon Sugar Glaze Combine Sugar and Cinnamon into a bowl and melt the butter. Add doughnut to the butter then coat with the Cinnamon Sugar.
