Welcome to my channel. In this video I will show you how to make Falafel,a deep-fried ball or patty shaped fritter made from chickpeas.It is rich in protein and can be had with hummus,green chutney,sauce or in rolls.

Serves 12falafels
Soaking time-6hours/overnight
Preparation time:30minutes
Cooking time:30minutes
Ingredients are:
Chickpeas-250g
Chopped onion-1onion
Green chillies-4 to 5
Garlic-10 to 14
Coriander-1/2cup
Lemon juice-1tsp
Dhaniya powder-1tsp
Jeera powder-1tsp
Salt-1tsp
Oil-for deep frying
Cooking Method:
Soak the chickpeas for 6hours/overnight.
Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend it coarsely.
Make small round balls or patties out of the mixture and deep fry them until golden brown.You can bake these as well.Serve it with hummus,green chutney or sauce.
