Design Gaps and Challenges in a Sustainability Challenged World by David Berman

This invited talk was delivered by David Berman during the International Design Conference on Sustainability and Design hosted by IDC, IIT Bombay. He talked about Design gaps and challenges in a sustainability-challenged world - the role of design in shaping products, services, and environments. David Berman has over 20 years of experience in graphic design and communications and has worked extensively in the adaptation of printed materials for electronic distribution, including Web design and software interface development. He is the author of ‘Do Good Design: How Designers Can Change the World’; also a Founder of the Constitution of Code of Ethics ratified Nationally, and Member of, Icograda Board. Based in Ottawa, as an expert speaker, graphic designer, communications strategist, public speaker, typographer and consultant, his professional work has brought him to over 10 countries in the past few years.
