For the dough, first mix together the flour, eggs, butter, sugar and salt. Then stir the yeast into the lukewarm milk before adding it to the flour mix. 2. Now knead everything together until it no longer sticks. Then cover it and leave it to stand for an hour somewhere warm. 3. For the chocolate filling, put the cocoa powder, sugar, butter, flour and milk in a pan. While it's heating up, grate the dark chocolate into the mix using a cheese grater and then add a pinch of salt. Let the ingredients melt and mix everything together with a whisk. As soon as the mixture is smooth and viscous, pour it into a bowl and leave it to cool down. 4. On a floured work surface, roll the dough out in a circle. Make sure that it doesn't become too thin, to avoid it tearing later in the process. Spread the filling evenly over the whole dough, but leave a margin around the edges. 5. Now fold two opposite sides of the dough into the middle so that they touch each other. Fold one half of the dough on to the other to give you a wide stick of dough. Roll it out again, fold it in half lengthways, then repeat these two steps. Lastly, roll the dough out one more time, and fold both long edges back into the middle. Then shape the dough into a roll with a consistent diameter along its length. Next, cut it into pieces a little over 1 inch long. 6. Place the portions upright in the molds of a greased muffin pan and then bake your cruffins for 25 minutes in a convection oven at 340°F. Tip: Try making the cruffins with a coconut or strawberry filling. ****************************************************** Do you want to see more content like this?
