TEAR DOWN Robot Wars Radio Controlled Shunt 40MHz Logistix Kids Retail TM Shunt © BBC 1998 © BBC 2000 I didn't buy this the first time I saw it in the charity shop but when it was still there on the second visit I decided to waste my money. It said incomplete on the label although visibly it looked all there. A quick check when I got home revealed it needs a rechargeable battery and of course a matching charger. The tear down revealed more problems, each of the pinion gears on the 3 motors are split plus 3 more inside so a total of 6 will have to be replaced and my chances of finding matching identical gears is pretty slim. The only positive is the transmitter and receiver seem OK and give the facility to control 3 motors.
