Mini Winter Greenhouse

Late night gardening -upgraded the water heating system with reclaimed and scavenged heat from the 70 watt HID (HPS) as well as from a fresnel lens. The light and the fresnel lens heat a solid block of aluminum which acts as a heat sink or heat battery, then air is drawn through it from the vacuum/air pump which pumps the now heated air through an airstone underwater. Also a 7 watt water pump draws water through a biofilter and up through a hose which goes through the heatsink and next to the HID lamp and heats the water, which is pumped back into the pond creating heated water and additional aereation. The spring plants are started and will be placed in the greenhouse soon.
