Immunity Challenge: Survivor History Winner: Mogo Mogo Day 24 The tribes receive news about a Survivor history challenge, and meanwhile, Rob thinks up a plan to make Amber stay. At the Survivor history challenge, Chapera and Mogo Mogo both get ten points, forcing a tiebreaker: write down the contestants voted out first in order. Mogo Mogo gets it right and wins immunity. Before Chapera leaves, Rob tells Lex that if he "takes care of" Amber, he'll take care of him later in the game, Lex agrees, and Mogo Mogo hopes Amber will make it. At Chapera, the alliance of Kathy and Shii Ann at first conclude to vote out Amber but change their mind to Jerri because Boston Rob would get angry. Amber pleads her case to Lex, and he tells her that Jerri will go. To be straight up, Lex tells Jerri. Despite her efforts to keep herself in, Jerri is the ninth "All-Star" booted out in a 4-1 vote. Trivia This episode marks the only time in Jerri Manthey's three seasons that she was voted out pre-merge. The only castaway to not change tribes in the switch was Amber. In an interview with Rob Cesternino, Jerri revealed that the buffs inside were laid flat and arranged in order, claiming that it was the production's way of splitting Rob and Amber up. After this episode's Tribal Council, both Boston Rob and Shii Ann have improved on their original placement finishes; they finished 10th place in their original seasons respectively. This episode marks the first time tribes switched for a second time. Occurring on Day 24, this is the latest Tribal Council where the person voted out did not make the jury. https://survivor.fandom.com/wiki/Survivor: _All-Stars Season Summary The eighteen returning castaways were divided into three competing tribes: Chapera, Saboga, and Mogo Mogo. Chapera proved to be a powerhouse, coming first in nearly every challenge, while Mogo Mogo routinely came in second. Saboga on the other hand went to dissension due to losing challenges. Jenna Lewis, and Jerri Manthey were set on getting rid of the previous winners, and they managed to successfully eliminate one of the winners at their first Tribal Council. After Saboga's dissolution, Chapera continued to dominate in challenges mainly due to Rob Mariano's leadership. On Chapera, Rob and his closest ally/romantic interest Amber Brkich formed a final four alliance with former Saboga members Jenna and Rupert Boneham, while Mogo Mogo suffered a losing streak due to Lex van den Berghe continually targeting the stronger players. With ten players remaining, a tribe switch was held where players drew new buffs out of a pot. Each player drew a buff of the opposite tribe color except Amber. This left her in the Chapera name, but with Mogo Mogo members. When Chapera lost the next Immunity Challenge, Rob made a deal with Lex and asked him to save Amber, promising that he will make it up to him later in the game. Lex convinced the rest of Chapera to vote out Jerri instead of Amber. The pre-merge phase was known for the early eliminations of the previous winners, strategic and physical threats, and popular players. On Day 26, the nine remaining players were merged under the tribe name Chaboga Mogo. Rob's first order of business was to dispose of Lex and his allies. Rob broke his deal with Lex, and Rob along with his allies managed to eliminate Lex and his allies. Rob and Amber honored their deal with Rupert and Jenna by eliminating the other Chapera members. While it appeared that the vote would end in a 2-2 tie at the final 4, Jenna voted out Rupert, thinking she can't beat him in a jury vote, and fearing the infamous rock drawing tiebreaker. Rob won the Final Immunity Challenge, and voted out Jenna, making himself and Amber the Final Two. At the Final Tribal Council, most of the jury members expressed their disgust towards Rob for his numerous deceptions, while Amber was castigated for riding Rob's coattails. At the live show, prior to the reading of the votes, Rob surprisingly proposed to Amber, and she agreed to marry him...
