Now, why is it called that? it’s because the pattern is made with two boundaries, the first edge is surrounding the whole pineapple while the second is the pineapple itself. This pattern may very well be the last of my round doilies for now, so that’s why I made a huge one. It could easily be used as a tabletop for a medium-sized round table. I will give you the exact measurements with the next part since I haven't finished it myself yet, so I’m pretty much giving you the live pattern. The pattern is long, I’ll admit but it doesn’t mean that it’s hard, this pattern is surprisingly easy. The main reason is that it’s chain dominant, since pineapples need a lot of space to progress properly I used a good amount of chain to ensure that, so be ready to make a lot of chains. It may look a little confusing at first but believe me, you’ll understand it better if you crochet along with me, you can see the whole thing happening gradually right in front of you, giving you a better understanding of the design. A piece of advice, since this pattern is long you may want to take a break every once in a while or you’ll get severe back pain or other muscle pain.
