SPLASH MOUNTAIN gets makeover, JENNA MARBLES quits YouTube, JENNY SLATE leaves Big Mouth, RIP Huey

Today we have quite a bit on the docket! Splash Mountain, Jenna Marbles, Jenny Slate, and Lil Huey. Disney World's famed Splash Mountain ride, which was modeled after the "problematic" movie Song of the South, is being remodeled and reimaged to a Princess and the Frog theme with Princess Tiana and her trumpet playin' alligator Louie! You would think everyone would be ecstatic about the decision to correct historical wrong but that just wouldn't be the world we live in today now would it? Mega Youtuber Jenna Marbles has received tons of backlash about the recent resurfacing of some old videos where she did blackface to impersonate Nicki Minaj and said some very insensitive things about Asians. Amidst this controversy, she uploaded a video titled "A Message" and announced that she may quit youtube. Jenny Slate, the voice actor of Missy on Netflix's "Big Mouth', has decided to step down from voicing the character because she says that "Black characters should be voiced by Black people. Lastly, rapper Lil Huey who is most famous for his 2006 hit "Pop, Lock, and Drop It", was shot and killed in St. Louis. Though he is dead, our memories (and our knees) will never forget his legacy.
