Sous Vide TRI TIP Steak is EASY + mouthwatering. RECIPE — https://sousvidetritip.com — Make this sous vide steak recipe for a quick weeknight dinner. It's fancy but simple and covered in a delicious, creamy cilantro sauce. This grilled or cast-iron finished steak recipe has become my go to when I'm craving a savory, restaurant-quality meal. PRINT THIS RECIPE 🖨️ https://sipbitego.com/sous-vide-tri-tip Sous vide tri tip with sauce Ingredients 3 pounds tri-tip steak 1 tablespoon garlic ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper 1/2 tbsp olive oil Creamy garlic cilantro and lime sauce 2 tsp garlic, minced 2 tsp olive oil 8 oz sour cream 1 cup cilantro, loosely torn leaves 1/8 tsp lime zest 1/2 lime, juiced 1 pinch salt 1/8 tsp chipotle powder Instructions 1. Preheat sous vide machine to 130ºF. 2. Season tri-tip with garlic, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. 3. Vacuum-seal tri-tip + sous vide at 130ºF for 2 hours. 4. Make the cilantro sauce. Add garlic and olive oil to a pan on medium heat. Sauté for 30-60 seconds, stirring regularly until garlic is roasted. Pull from heat when it becomes translucent. Add garlic olive oil and all the sauce ingredients to a small blender. Blend 10-20 seconds until smoothly combined. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve. 5. Add ice and cold water to a large bowl. Remove tri-tip from the hot sous vide water and shock it in the ice bath for 5-10 minutes.  6. Remove tri-tip from the bag and pat dry. Then choose a finishing method… (Finish option 1) Sear sous vide tri tip in a cast iron skillet... over medium-high heat with olive oil. (Finish option 2) Grill sous vide tri tip…. Brush olive oil on the outside of the cooked sous vide tri tip. Heat grill to high heat, 500 degrees was the temperature for this recipe. Grill with the cover closed, until grill marks appear. Flip and repeat. You can quickly grill on each side again, to get criss-cross grill marks.  7. Transfer to a cutting board and rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with sauce.  Making it?
