INGREDIENTS
Coriander - 1/4 Cup
Black Pepper - 1 Tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 Cup
Cloves- 8
Cardamom - 5
Fennel seeds - 1 Tbsp
Water - 3 Cups
Turmeric - 1/2 Tsp
Chopped Ginger - 1 Tsp
Jaggery - 2 Tbsp
Milk - 1/4 Cup
PREPARATION
STEP 1
- Add 1/4 Cup Coriander, Black Pepper 1 Tbsp, Cumin Seeds 1/4 Cup, 8 Cloves, 5 Cardamom and 1 Tbsp Fennel Seeds to a heated Pan and Roast into medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Cool down completely.
- Grind into smooth Powder.
STEP 2
- Add 3 Cups Water to a Sauce Pan and boil for 3 minutes.
- Add 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder, add 1 Tsp Finley Chopped Ginger and 2 Tbsp Jaggery, Add 2 Tsp Ground Masala Powder, mix it well and boil for 5 minutes.
- Next add 1/4 Cup Milk and boil for another 5 minutes.
STEP 3
- filter the Liquid
- Now Kashayam is ready.
