We Need More Elseworlds Comic Book Movies

The film, set for release this October, has garnered much attention due to its unique nature from many of the other comic book films released by not only DC, but from practically all of the modern superhero genre. Joker is, by comic book fans’ definition, an Elseworlds story brought to the big screen, and this (among a number of reasons) is why I’m so excited to see the film, and if the film becomes a critical and commercial success, I think this approach could be one used more frequently in future superhero and comic book films.
